Random Pics

Jacob was very proud of his train track that Brian put together today. He loves his trains!
Then he felt the need to pose with the track. Last picture of the kids and me without our new addition.
Yesterday, the kids and Brian ventured out in the afternoon into the snow. It started with a bit of snowball throwing. Then, Brian and Audrey started on a snowman until Audrey decided it was too cold. So, a big snowball is all it became which was quickly demolished.

The first few days of Spring Break, Jacob went to Fire Safety School. He loved it! When I picked him up both days, he was full of new safety information for me to learn.

Jacob loves the Polar Express! We have the regular and the 3-D version. He doesn't last long with the 3-D, but enjoys it for a little while.

Miss Hollywood. As you know, both kids love to dress up. From all out garb to just sunglasses and an attitude!

Happy Birthday Paw Paw and baby update

Happy Birthday Paw Paw! We love you and hope you have a wonderful day! Sorry the video is sideways! I didn't know it would turn out that way and I couldn't fix it nor could I get the kids to do a take two!

We have an induction date set for Tuesday the 31st! Yeah! Halle seems to be veeeeerrrry content, so we may need to give her some help. We are very excited and enjoying these last few days as a family of four! Looking forward to our last day/days of winter weather before hopefully all spring weather too!

Halle is comfy!

For those of you that knew my next Doctor's appt. was today, I don't have much of an update. :( I have told most everyone how great I felt with the other two up until they were born. And with this one, I am ready! Not that I feel terrible. But being so spoiled before, my little aches and pains, not sleeping but a little bit before tossing and turning (which hurts) and certain times when she moves are as painful as labor pains! It's getting a bit old. Plus I'm just anxious to see her as any other mom-to-be is! I think she is comfy in her mommy like her siblings were. My mom said maybe she knows who is waiting for her on the outside (J and A) and wants to wait to get a little bigger. :) Probably both! So, I'll give you any more updates as they come. Have a happy spring break and enjoy the spring weather!

Catching up January and February

Catching up is hard to do when you can't remember when the pictures were taken! Obviously Jacob and Audrey decided to play dress up (one of their favorite daily routines) in Mom and Dad's clothes. Audrey has a maternity shirt of mine on and then picked out a matching skirt to go with it. Jacob went back and forth between Brian's boxers and some of my gym shorts trying to see if any would fit. Not quite.

Next is the snow we received late January! It was fun and very cold! This was the second day when the kids decided to go out for about 5 minutes and that's all they could stand on the back porch. We didn't have much need for snow clothes in Texas. I guess we'll need to be more prepared next year!

This was the first day Jacob got out to experience the snow by himself. I wasn't interested and Audrey was sleeping. So, he decided to have a little fun outside the office window.

No wonder everyone is sick this time of year. Audrey Beth's Birthday was February 9th and that weekend and the weekend before were both in the 70's! We had a great time celebrating her third big day! From early last year she has been planning her day and went from Dora to Barbie and finally she ended up deciding on Hello Kitty. Brian's parents came in town for the week and Audrey had a week filled with fun! The party was filled with her sweet girlfriends and family. Audrey loved the cake and the rest of us loved tasting it! Katie Rowten made it and I highly recommend her!

One of the favors/activities was a picture frame the girls decorated, so I tried to get a good pic of the girls all together which wasn't easy! They also decorated these tiara's. I had to explain to Brian what a tiara was...he's learning.

We had a pinata that you just pull the strings and one certain string lets the candy out. It turned out that the last string they pulled was the magic one. Brian was thrilled we didn't have the kind of pinata that the girls would be aiming a bat at him as well.
We took advantage of the nice weather, though windy, and used Jacob's moon bounce to let everyone play. This was a big hit as you can see!

She hasn't quite got the hang of her scooter, but she likes it!
And last, but not least, we had a great time when Mawmaw and Pawpaw where here. We didn't take a lot of pics because we were busy busy! By the end of their trip we were all worn out.
Now we enter that month that Halle Jane may make her arrival! The kids are so excited and keep asking when it will be. I tell them that God makes that decision. We are gearing up! I don't think she will be waiting til April, but who knows. We'll keep you updated. I just returned from San Antonio for a girls weekend. We took no pics, but it was an awesome trip! We stayed at my friend Sarah's in laws weekend house at Lake Canyon. It was a beautiful area with lots of deer. We mostly took it easy, especially with two babies with us (a 3 and 4 month old) and then me being very pregnant, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. We did manage to get out for lunch and a little shopping on Saturday in downtown Gruene. Thanks for a wonderful weekend girls! I'm worn out and ready to wait! :)

Rosy Cheeks, Muffins and Cookies

We recently played musical rooms with the kids. We moved Jacob to what was going to be the play/guest room prior to our surprise news this summer, moved all of Audrey's furniture to Jacob's room and got big girl furniture for Audrey. Both the kids were really ready to help Brian with the paint job in Halle's room (paint color rosy cheeks). Jacob especially enjoyed painting and "fixing" things in her room. The name of the paint we used in Audrey's old room in Texas was My Fair Lady. Not planned because of her name, just ironic. So... maybe Halle will have her dad's complexion instead of mine due to this paint name. We'll see soon!
Jacob had "Moms and Muffins" day at school. It was very sweet! From this picture with Jacob's mouth full, you can see we both really enjoyed having the muffins, cocoa and juice! Jacob with his friend Callon. All the kids did a great job with their singing the "mom" songs!
Anyone for Valentine's cookies? Or just cookies? Seems like lately, we have had an abundance of cookies at our house. Don't know if that has to do with me being pregnant or it is just a good time to make, buy, or have cookies around! Doesn't help that it is girl scout cookie time either! I usually try not to buy them (don't need them), but it is Brian who cannot turn them down. Today we had Cailey, Callon and Lesley over for some good play time. I was running low on lunch food (so sorry), but made sure I had these cookies last week when I knew they were coming over?!
Audrey didn't stick around too long (her attention span in the kitchen is very short). The others really enjoyed helping out, especially with the icing!
The end result...a masterpiece!
After everyone left, Audrey said over and over, "We had a great time." Well said!
