Birthdays to BBQ's

I'm sure it is very easy, but I left these two pics out of order and can't figure out how to put them in the middle. Oh well. Here's Halle's party. She got an early start on the cupcakes.
"You didn't see that did you?"
Spring break the kids went to Fire Safety Camp at one of the Edmond fire stations. They had a blast. The first day they came home. I had to get the ladder out for Jacob and I to check all the fire alarms to make sure they were working and develop an escape route for the family in case of a fire.

Halle Jane turned 1! As you can tell, she's so excited!

Maw-maw and Paw-Paw came in town for Halle's Birthday, so Jacob and Audrey made a cake for Paw-Paw's Birthday.
We had lots of family members at her party, yet mom didn't get any pictures of anyone else. One track mind I guess!
"Get this thing off my head!"
She was my daintiest of eaters. Didn't want her fingers to get too messy.

"What a great picture frame, Jacob!"
Big girl in her chair!
The "best" picture we could get of all of us on Easter. Right after this Jacob and Audrey show up with a fever. We forwent Easter egg hunting. :( Luckily they hunted on Saturday.
Brian spent many hours building a swing set for the kids recently. I was crowd control, so he mostly did it by himself. The kids enjoy eating lunch out there. Even though it is not huge, it has become the hang out for the kids on our street.
Last week we had the mother/son western barbecue at the church. So much fun! Jacob was really looking forward to it since Audrey already had her father/daughter event.
Digging for gold.

Roping a calf.
He was so excite to drink root beer from the boot cup.A real cowboy from our church did a roping show for everyone that was great!50 foot rope!Callon and Jacob.
We couldn't leave until he got to ride the real thing. It was dark and we were about the last ones to ride, but he didn't care.

Random and Exciting Days!

I always like to catch up over a couple of months. :) This girl dresses up every day. I know that isn't unusual for a little one her age, but I just love to see what she comes up with. This pic is one of her many combos she put together.

Halle has always humored me with all I put on her and do to her. She pretty much goes with the flow of everything which is great! I love this hat on her. So squishy!
One of the few family pics before Christmas.
Tried to get a decent one in front of the Christmas tree.

One of the few nice days in January. Jacob got dressed head to toe in his baseball attire and played with Brian.

Audrey's idea of how to play in the snow. Baby looks a little cold!

Our makeshift sled. Was a blast for the kids!

After running out to take some quick pics of the kids in the snow, this is how I found Halle. She didn't want to wait on me to return before she got her food. Using her fingers as a spoon. It was hilarious!

Halle's favorite toy for the past 3-4 months! I wish I could show you a video of her dancing to the music! Her rear shakes up and down so fast.
Starting Audrey's 4th Birthday off right... biscuits and chocolate gravy!

Ode to mimi. The day Audrey turned 4, was bitter sweet for her. She had to "mail away" mimi to another little girl who needed one. Though it was rough, we have made it through this hurdle in our life.Daddy/Daughter Princess Tea.
Not our usual bath style, but had to get a picture of all of them together!
No, this is not an attempt to cut Halle's hair by myself. She has a full fledged mohawk and we love it! Nothing a bow or headband can't cover up.
Poor Halle, doesn't get many pics taken by herself. Brother and sister are usually by her side always. Here are a few I caught alone.
Another favorite toy of hers. I use it to get her to crawl. She doesn't want to do a whole lot by herself. She has two siblings who do everything for her! So, this toy is her motivation to move.
New found thing to do...play with her tongue.
Not so new found thing to do, take her headband off! No matter how much she takes it off, I will continue to put it back on!
Otherwise she looks like a sweet boy with a mohawk!
Here's to a happening Spring! Halle will be one very soon, so I'll try to post some then too!
